I am thrilled to be standing next to Alyssa on her wedding day as her Maid of Honor.  I met Alyssa over 10 years ago, and we have been inseparable ever since. We have had so many wonderful adventures together, from navigating high school, to living in Barcelona, attending her family holidays (thanks Jeff and Noelle), to now being roommates in San Francisco. She is truly my sister. I have also had the pleasure of becoming friends with Alek, and knowing him and Alyssa as a couple.  They are my favorite scuba diving buddies! They are a wonderful match, and I look forward to many more years of friendship with them both.

Sam is Alek’s best man. Meaning, without Sam, Alek would be lost. All accomplishments achieved by Alek can be accredited to Sam, as well as any admirable characteristics or traits.

I have known Alyssa all my life as she is my amazing younger cousin. Growing up, Alyssa and I were inseparable and had a lot of fun together. From spending our time running around outside and going to the beach in East Hampton to walking the trails of Big Sur, we were always inseparable. Alyssa is a younger sister to me and I'm so excited to celebrate her and Alek this November!

Jonathan is the middle child. That means he is the elder to the youngest as well as the younger to the oldest. All accomplishments achieved by Sam can be accredited to Jonathan, as well as any admirable characteristics or traits.

I have known Alyssa all my life, she is my older cousin! When I come to visit Alyssa in Carmel, she would take me on these beautiful hikes in Big Sur. I love going on crazy adventures with her and seeing the places she loves to go to! I always had the best times in the car with her catching up on our lives. Alyssa has always been there for me, like another older sister and I can’t wait for her wedding!!

Nathanael is Alek's youngest but most mature brother. Alek often tells people that Nathanael

is a HUGE reason he made it anywhere in life, mainly due to his good looks and award winning smile, both of which fueled Alek's passion for electric vehicles.

Alyssa has been a huge gift to me! She has brought adventure, love, depth, and so much encouragement into my life. I am so grateful for the 10 years of laughing, growing, singing, learning, & trusting God. Alyssa is constantly loving and so faithful to her loved ones. To know Alyssa is to love her! YAY Alyssa and Alek!!!!

Growing up with Alyssa, it was always clear she was going to forge her own path. There were years there I think it could have been anyone’s guess where she’d wind up settling, and calling home. I truly think for most of her life, rural India would have been a safer guess than San Francisco. Here we are though and I'm so impressed with the life she wound up choosing while never ceasing to sprinkle in the adventurous side of her that will likely never leave. Couldn’t picture a more fitting and grounding partner for her than Alek, super excited both for this wedding, and for their lives together.

Alyssa and I became fast friends in college. From eating Korean BBQ for hours to line dancing nights, we have shared many lovely memories together. She is my sweet sister in Christ and we always try to be there and support each other through the different seasons of life. I am so excited to stand alongside her as she marries the man of her dreams!

Alyssa and I met way back in 1997. So you could say we’ve known each other pretty much our entire lives. We have some great memories together, and many more to come! And welcome to the family Alek, it was clear from day 1 that you are perfect for my sister! Couldn’t be happier for both of you. Love you guys, Alex

It was 2018, My parents' kitchen, right after church. There she was - Alyssa in all her perfect quirkiness - just waiting to become one of my best friends.

Fast forward & we’ve spent the past 4 years hiking, dining, laughing, studying, & praying our way through challenging and honest conversations which has gifted us with a friendship that I’m eternally grateful for. Fun fact- right after my husband Danny and I met Alek, we looked at each other with HUGE smiles on our faces. We didn’t have to say it but we knew we’d just met the man for our beloved Alyssa. I’m so grateful to have grown up with Alyssa by my side. For the past ten years, she has been my partner in crime, my thoughtful counselor, and my goofy cuddle-bug through the good and the bad. She’s taught me to step out of my comfort zone, whether we’re stepping into roller skates or the backcountry, and no dance party or spontaneous adventure is complete without Alyssa. I’m so lucky to be able to look forward to many more laughs and a whole lotta love with Alyssa and Alek!

Since the first day of college, Jon was always there to lead, teach, and inspire Alek. This mentorship continued over the years and allowed Alek to be so successful in his work, passions, and more importantly his upcoming marriage, Jon is honored to be recognized for his influential role in molding Alek into the man he is today.

I’m Lydia and Alyssa and I met right when I moved back to SF in August of 2020! We quickly became COVID friends and started spending tons of time surfing (badly for me),  hiking, watching church online, etc. I’ve been so encouraged by Alyssa over the last 2 years and I’ve loved watching Alyssa and Alek walk through so many different seasons together. Above all, their unity is an example of unconditional and sacrificial love, as they seek to honor each other and God — November and every other season after can’t come soon enough! Love you both

Alek and Michael met in their first year at Cal Poly.  For a period of time, Michael was the only person Alek had brought back to Uganda to visit his family and the place he grew up.  That was until this year, when Alyssa joined Alek on a trip back to his home of Uganda.  At this moment, Michael knew Alyssa was the one for Alek.

So if you’re keeping track, that means the most important people in Alek’s life are Alyssa, then Michael, and then comes everyone else who hasn’t accompanied him on a trip to his home which one day, if you are lucky, you just might get that privilege.

My name is Brianna, and Alyssa and I met when we were wee freshman at Santa Clara! It was destined by Heavens that we would live together for the next 4 years. After many adventures, laughter, deep conversations when we should have been sleeping, and helping one another grow into who we are today, I am honored to stand by THE most beautiful bride in the world. Hi! My name is Kendall and I’ve had the absolute honor of being close to Alyssa for over a decade now. From being the best prom date to constantly visiting her on the weekends at Santa Clara, our friendship has always been really special. I have always admired the authenticity Alyssa brings to the table and I know that will carry over into this next chapter of her life. Alek is the luckiest man not only to know Alyssa but to love her so deeply. Can’t wait to see the life you two build!

I’ve known Alyssa since Carmel Valley tennis camps way back in 7th grade. She has been by my side through so many firsts - first backpacking trip, first music festival, first houseboats trip. I’m so grateful for every memory and adventure we’ve shared so far; I know I wouldn’t be who I am without her years of friendship. I could not be more excited to celebrate Alyssa and Alek with big dance parties and big love, as is classic Alyssa style (even since middle school)!

I met Alyssa my 1st year of college and her Junior year. Immediately struck by how she loves others and is just so goofy. I think it was at a galantines event that I told her I’d love to hang with her and she said ditto! We started reading the Bible together and Alyssa quickly became a mentor and big sis. Since then, Alyssa has been a sturdy friend through life, backpacking, surfing, skiing, and rollerblading! So honored to stand by her into this next chapter with Alek!!
